Drabble: Fear
Jan. 27th, 2013 06:14 pmPrompt (from sim_spiration):
Lyrics: "Don't pay no mind to the demons/They fill you with fear." (Home, Phillip Phillips)
Warning: this drabble is more morbid than usual.
Ophelia found it hard not to think about death in this state, tired but still wide awake.
Here was an elevator, where she was trapped, screaming until her voice was hoarse but there was no use, no one would hear her. There was a plane, where she was being rocked violently back and forth as it barreled to the ground, where it would crash and break and shatter.
And now a river, deep enough for her to be completely submerged, full of sharp rocks and strong currents that pushed and pulled.
This time it was't her death she was seeing.
